Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I'm assuming you're looking for more information about me and counselling - I know how utterly overwhelming and confusing it can be to try and find the right counsellor/therapist for you. So I'll try my best to be as open about me and how I work.
So, hello. My name is Emma. I'm 35 (insert "she's not old enough to be a counsellor... what does she know" comments here), and I'm an integrative counsellor offering sessions face to face in Langport and working remotely online. Sessions are 50 minutes and I charge a fixed fee of £55 per session, with some concessionary rate slots available for trainee counselling students.
What does "integrative counsellor" mean? Well, I focus on seeing you as a whole person, and I don't think that as a whole complex person, one way of working is going to completely fit for you, in all circumstances. So my approach varies, depending on what you need and what your goals are for counselling.
